Hello, my name is Gwen

My love for dogs began at a young age and has only grown stronger over the years. As a devoted pet owner, my own experiences continue to shape the way I care for every dog entrusted to me.

My passion for grooming began when my childhood dog entered her senior years. As grooming became more physically and emotionally challenging for her, I discovered how much a quiet, familiar environment, the opportunity for breaks when needed, and the ability to work at her own pace could change her experience. That realization inspired Trust & Harmony Mobile Grooming, a place where dogs who benefit from calm, individualized care can be groomed in the comfort of their own driveway.

I’ve always been a natural caretaker with deep empathy for those experiencing fear, stress, or uncertainty. Before becoming a professional dog groomer, my career included cosmetology, massage therapy, and nearly two decades in healthcare. Those experiences taught me that trust comes before everything else. Working in those professions also taught me to look beyond the obvious, ask questions, and continually seek better solutions. That same approach now shapes the way I care for each dog’s physical and emotional well-being.

Today, that philosophy guides every appointment. I’m especially passionate about helping anxious, fearful, and sensitive dogs learn that grooming doesn’t have to be something they simply endure. It can become a comfortable and predictable part of life. Using Fear Free principles and knowledge of canine behavior and how dogs learn, my goal is to help each dog build confidence at a pace that respects both their emotional and physical well-being.

As I built my grooming career, I made a commitment to continually deepen my knowledge and refine my skills. I am a Fear Free Certified Professional, Pet CPR & First Aid Certified, and a Pet Aesthetician currently completing the Certified Pet Aesthetician program through Iv San Bernard. My professional development has included advanced skin and coat studies, specialized seminars and workshops, ongoing mentorship with experienced groomers, and hands-on learning alongside respected professionals. I believe my clients deserve a groomer who never stops learning.

Over time, my education and experience have led me to develop a strong focus on skin and coat health. Healthy skin is the foundation of a healthy coat, but achieving that often begins with helping a dog feel safe enough to fully participate in the grooming process. Whether we’re working through anxiety, restoring compromised skin and coat, or simply maintaining a healthy one, my goal is always the same: to improve each dog’s comfort, health, and quality of life.

It is an honor to care for both dogs and the people who love them. My hope is that every visit leaves your dog feeling safe, comfortable, and cared for, and gives you the confidence that they are in compassionate, capable hands.
